Having a Greece outside Greece, I cordially welcome the creation of the Association of Greeks and Philhellenes Abroad. I feel that this association will be the link between Greece and all those who are keen to establish strong bonds with the country where Democracy was born, established and prevail.

Second or third generation Greeks (Hellenes) who live in their new homeland, do not forget their roots and they are very interested in getting know, the land of their ancestors, better. Becoming members of GLOBAL HELLAS, will have this opportunity and additionally the chance to participate in activities and actions that will help the achievement of its goals. I sincerely encourage them to join GLOBAL HELLAS and influence their friends to do the same.

Philhellenes, people all over the world, influenced by the Greek values, culture and spirit, will find through GLOBAL HELLAS, the way to know better modern Greece. To visit its wonderful sites, to feel the hospitality. It will be their hub to investigate and explore whatever they are interested in Greece, even their possible business interests. Moreover, they will feel or even better act, as ambassadors of a country who respects human rights, is dedicated and constant supporter of peace, a safe country, a country which deserve their friendship and love and always find the way to give back.

I fully support and encourage all initiators and the steering committee to work for the success of this noble initiative.
